Change of UK Entry for Animals from Europe
July 29th, 2011
Great news from the 1 January 2012 you no longer have to have your pets blood tested and wait the 6 months for UK entry. The new rules from this date are from Europe to the UK your pet has to have a passport, microchip and then a rabies vaccine and then 21 days after their first ever rabies vaccine (and as long as you keep it in date) they can enter the UK. The tick treatment has been cancelled but DEFRA have still not decided on the tapeworm treatment. If you have any questions look on the DEFRA website or contact us.
